Our Team

Lori Gleeman is the Founder & CEO of Soul Equity Solutions. She launched the firm as an answer to a need in the PE market – a boutique, highly specialized, and consultative executive search firm, with deep knowledge of the private equity universe and its players.

For over 15 years, Lori has provided innovative talent acquisition solutions across industries. Prior to founding Soul Equity, Lori was Principal Recruiter at a Private Equity focused retained search firm, placing C-Suite executives within portfolio companies. Previously, she braved investment management attorney’s on a daily basis as Managing Director within a legal search firm, the spark for her transition into private equity. She launched her recruiting career as Managing Director at Atrium Staffing, managing the permanent placement division while making lifelong friends.

Lori lives in New York City and is a proud mom of twin boys and her Goldendoodle, Dixie. She loves to cook and entertain and enjoys skiing and yoga. Lori graduated from the University of Vermont. She is actively involved in the private equity universe, is a member of Exponent Women and serves on the Women of Leadership, and DEI committees for ACG NY.

Julie brings extensive financial services recruitment expertise to Soul Equity Solutions, specializing in identifying top investment talent for private equity firms. Prior to joining Soul Equity, Julie developed sophisticated sourcing strategies and built diverse talent pipelines at prestigious firms including H.I.G. Capital and the D.E. Shaw Group. Throughout her career, she has excelled at identifying and attracting investment professionals across all experience levels, developing innovative approaches to sourcing, and finding those perfect matches between exceptional candidates and client needs. Julie thrives on building relationships and enjoys the human connection that comes from working with both clients and candidates.

Julie holds a degree from MIT and currently bases herself in Milan with her family, while maintaining strong connections to Miami and New York City. What started as a short adventure in Italy has evolved into a more permanent arrangement. While she misses Broadway shows, bagels, and brunches, she embraces all that Italian life has to offer. A loyal Miami Heat fan, Julie enjoys reading, traveling, snowboarding, yoga, and staying active with her children in her spare time.

Alex joins Soul Equity as a Recruiting Associate from Durham, North Carolina. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Journalism. Prior to Soul Equity Solutions, Alex began her recruiting career at a top search firm for digital technology companies. Alex found her love for recruiting after spending several years in retail management and discovering her passion for connecting with people and fostering career development. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her two dogs, eat delicious local food and take care of her rare plant collection.

Kate joins Soul Equity as a Recruiting Coordinator based in Boston. A graduate of Northeastern University with a B.S. in Finance and Accounting, she began her career in private equity before transitioning to executive search. In her free time, Kate loves exploring new neighborhoods, skiing, reading, and discovering great local restaurants.
