1. Initial consultation

Our Private Equity firm clients reach engage us when they have an executive hiring need. Soul Equity consults with you at length about your talent requirements and priorities, your culture fit, specific needs, “nice-to-have’s” and concerns.

2. Sourcing and Vetting Candidates

We get to work matching you with the right candidates, relying on our proven research strategy, the expertise of our proprietary sourcing team and inside knowledge of the private equity landscape. We spend time to deeply assess targeted candidates during one on one Partner interviews. We focus on delivering a diverse slate of candidates. We develop trusting relationships with our candidates, guiding them personally through the interview process.

3. Candidate Assessment

A short list of candidates is determined based on experience, skills, and the assessment of values and culture. We spend a significant amount of time understanding professional transitions, experience, capabilities, and character, enabling the best match for your firm. We offer psychometric talent assessment tools, led by professionals with a mastery in a variety of assessment programs including the Hogan and Predictive Index.

4. Candidate Introduction and Closing

After creating a short list from our strategy-based recruiting process, we introduce you to the most aligned professionals for your role. The vast majority of our clients hire candidates from the first 5 introductions made. We provide guidance and recommendations, creating a uniquely personal candidate experience. We work with you to construct custom closing strategies and comp packages that your favored candidate will accept.

5. Follow up

We stay in touch with you and your new hire. We follow up frequently to monitor both company and candidate satisfaction, ensuring active communication between all parties.
